X'mas trees on sale
中午在Fox House Inn滿足地吃完英式的Sunday Roast後，看到對面Longshaw Estate掛著賣聖誕樹的招牌，沿著指標彎進停車場去瞧瞧。
原來，National Trust所管理的Longshaw Estate在毎年接近耶誕節的前一個月，會在園區裡販賣「真」的耶誕樹。停車場旁整齊的擺滿了一棵棵綠意盎然的耶誕樹，所謂真的耶誕樹就是直接把針葉樹的樹冠給据下來，時間久了，樹會自己再生長出來，對樹本身沒有影響，而使用過後的耶誕樹可以還給大自然，自然腐蝕掉，至少比塑膠的耶誕樹環保許多，塑膠耶誕樹的製造過程、使用過後都是環保的大問題。
首先，顧客在工作人員的介紹之下，開始在眾多的樹中挑選一棵滿意的樹型，因為自然生長，所以毎一棵樹型都各有特色，這是「真樹」與「塑膠樹」的最大差別吧。
這一家人終於挑上一棵大家都同意的樹。
挑完樹後的第一個步驟呢，就是幫樹量身高，因為要計算它的身價，價格是一呎￡4。
付了錢之後呢，還有不錯的服務，就是幫顧客打包，不然這麼一棵大剌剌的樹該怎麼搬運回家，這個簡單的打包工具很方便，把打包網套在圓筒外，只要把樹從這一頭塞進那一頭，樹自然就套在網子裡面。
打包之後，還沒結束，龜毛的英國人，還會幫你再把樹幹的底座用鉅子修剪整齊，讓你回家好處理。你看這群人努力的据..据..据..。

這一家人高興的帶了一棵耶誕樹回家，準備回去好好的佈置，迎接耶誕節的來臨。

慘...
哎呀姊姊你跟聖誕節這麼有緣
就買一棵來“採“在家裡
熱鬧熱鬧嘛
嫌裝飾品貴 那你就來搞一棵素雅的聖誕樹
原來外國人過節真的是全家一起準備
連選樹也全家出動
以前我以為要產生一棵聖誕樹必須得砍死一棵樹
原來誰都不會死
樹還會繼續長 太讚了誰發明的
現場有不同高度的樹
價格是一呎4鎊
假設買一棵7呎高的樹
就是28鎊
比塑膠花便宜許多 又環保
是很想也買一棵回來
但是想到買一棵不貴的耶誕樹
要買很多不便宜的耶誕裝飾品
還是算了
真有趣…台灣不知有沒有買這種真樹，
對了，不知道這些樹的售價如何呢?
那聖誕樹在英國各地都有賣還是要到特定地方才買得到呢?
