兩小時的湖濱散記
復活節剛過，熱衷收集Crumpler小野人的老龜就收到樂遊家為她特別挑選的2009 最新款火紅小野人五百萬包。然而，連續幾天的陰霾實在令人難受，也沒啥機會背它出去溜溜。兩顆急於出門透口氣的心，加上ErhuDave的馬拉松綵排邀約，重點是久違的太陽在下午兩點整準時露臉，促成了今天下午兩個小時的湖濱散步。地點是不列顛旅人中多所提及，位於山峰國家公園中的Ladybower水庫。

Porter Valley: an easy trial
昨晚的近零度C低溫預告了今天的萬里無雲，半夜兩點正式調整為夏令時間，一個白天變長的假象，再次損失一小時。老龜扛了50D，我拎了G9，一罐水，五顆三角飯團，走了暌違已久的Porter Valley，幾公里的easy路徑，高壓籠罩身心舒暢的午后。

2008年秋天在雀爾喜區重新開幕的薩奇藝廊（Saatchi Gallery），是倫敦舉足輕重的私人當代藝廊，由猶太裔的廣告業鉅子查爾斯薩奇（Charles Saatchi）於1985年所創辦。原本用以展示薩奇個人的藝術收藏，開幕以來搬遷過幾個館址，一開始在北倫敦的St John’s Wood前工業廠房，接著移到泰晤士河南岸的前倫敦市府建築，最後於2008年10月9日落腳於雀爾喜區一棟19世紀喬治樣式的約克公爵軍團總部建築中。

12月初0℃的冬晨，搭著懷舊列車來到了沙特爾（Saltaire），越過冰霜滿佈的月台，微露的溫暖燈光領著我們，闖進了這幕北國世界。時值耶誕節前夕，在這座英國不常見的義式風格教堂中，大人、小孩在管風琴的樂音中，採排著耶穌誕生劇，小朋友們天真的眼神、不做作的表演，溫暖了南國來的我們。
